Point 26 Casting

Year 9 Boys and Girls as extras to create a busy atmosphere to the play ground area. They look the most like primary school children.

Gordon Twiginam - Sam Reid takes a-level drama and enjoys acting so will give a realistic effect the the opening scene.  

Younger Gordon - Will Brockway will enjoy this role as it is a challenge from his usual play of Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol.

Small Girl (Gordons crush) - Iona Simpson is a very pretty young girl who will play this part perfectly.

Secretary - Louisa Robertson takes A-level drama so will enjoy creating a more persona for the secretary.

Point 24 - Locations

Aberlour Playing fields - We chose the Aberlour Playing Fields as it mimicks the background we need to set our main characters story on. As there are playing equipment already there for the extra actors to play on, giving the feeling of a realistic playground, where bullying wculd occur.

Pathway between Chapel and Ghouse - We chose this location to mimick a busy walkway you would expect to see in New York or any high street in a major city. This gives the main character a reason to show off and feel the need to strut. A busy walkway allows for shots of extra actors facial expressions.

Outside Ghouse (zebra crossing) - This area is a safe place for Gordon to fall as no traffic is allowed to move, also it is a characteristic of a busy city to have a zebra crossing.

Mrs Hawksley Reception area - The reception area is an already established area so limited props will need to be found.
